Licensing and Ordination Credentials

Sarah Family Ministries Ministerial Training Center offers a non-traditional and alternative process to Bible school training for ministry. The Ministerial Credentialing Class is a 15-week class intended to assist saints as they answer the call to ministry as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and missionaries.

Class Topics
Candidates explore and identify ministry foundations by developing a ministerial portfolio and by writing their ministry vision. Candidates also deepen their ministerial relationship skills through study of servant leadership, conflict resolution, while understanding the complexities and realities of shepherding God's people. Practical ministry tools are developed through classes on ministerial ethics/etiquette, church government, and the business of ministry. Candidates will understand just what it means to be a Minister of the Gospel.

Credential Outcomes
Candidates completing the class may be credentialed as Ministers in Training, Licensed Ministers of the Gospel or Ordained Ministers of the Gospel. Once credentialed, staying connected with other ministers, being accountable and receiving Biblical teaching are essential components of being a Minister of the Gospel. Sarah Family Ministries provides that and more!

The Ministerial Credentialing class is held on Monday nights from 6-9 pm (February through May). Please check the Calendar for specific dates.

Candidates considering this class must have completed the SFM MInisterial Training and Equipping Class. Candidates must also attend the Credentialing Class orientation to receive the application packet.

Class fee: $400/individual; $600/married couple.

Monthly Manna Gatherings
SFM ministers are encouraged to attend Manna. These monthly gatherings are designed for fellowship and unity, allowing ministers to preach, teach, lead and worship with their peers. Ministers grow in confidence and maturity as they step out in their ministry gifts. Manna at Sarah Family is a time for ministers to receive encouragement and to be refreshed as they share from the Word and fellowship with each other.

Manna is held the third Saturday of every month from 10am to noon. There is no charge for Manna; a free will offering is received.

1Thessalonians 2:4 NLT
For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

II Corinthians 2:17 NLT
You see, we are not like the many hucksters who preach for personal profit. We preach the word of God with sincerity and with Christ's authority, knowing that God is watching us.
